Bradford Marine, a prominent South Florida marina and repair company, has announced a management agreement to operate Sunrise Harbor Marina, effective August 1, 2024.

Located at 1030 Seminole Drive in Fort Lauderdale, Sunrise Harbor Marina offers approximately 762 meters (2,500 linear feet) of dockage and 22 wet slips, accommodating yachts ranging from 18 to 61 meters (59 to 200 feet). The marina's prime location is directly across the Intracoastal Bridge from Fort Lauderdale Beach within walkable distance of numerous amenities including the beach, parks, supermarkets and shopping malls.

Under Bradford Marine's management, plans for renovation projects and events are already in motion, with further details to be announced in the coming months.

This acquisition follows Bradford Marine’s purchase of Roscioli Yachting Center in October 2023, further enhancing their service capabilities in the region.

Michael Kelly, President of Bradford Marine, expressed his enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “Bradford Marine is incredibly proud and excited to add this high-quality, luxury superyacht marina to our family of companies with the opportunity to build on the great work that has been done by Suntex Marinas.” He emphasized the strategic importance of the expansion, adding, “This marina provides a key expansion for us as we’ll now be able to serve customers on two of South Florida’s major waterways with our marquee location on the New River, and now prime superyacht dockage space on the Intracoastal Waterway.”
