An Instagrampost published by @yachtnerdshows a yacht running aground in Nassau this week.
According to @yachtnerd, the captain apparently wasunfamiliar with The Bahamas, and tried to exit the east side of the island andused a small vessel only cut. However, no official statement has been releasedabout what caused the incident.
The name of the yacht is unknown, but an anonymouseyewitness told Dockwalk she’s aFeadship.
The Port of Nassau was reportedly closed onMarch 5 due to rough conditions.
This happened just a few weeks after another yacht ranaground in front of Bay Street Marina in Nassau.
