Recognition!

Never-ending charters, mountains of info to read for your latest course plus the tender has decided to spit out black stuff and you got little sleep last night because you were on watch. Urgh! And they wonder why you have a slightly strained smile when friends and family say that you have the best job in the world.

The best? Well it's no professional surfer or rock star but it definitely falls into the most-interesting category. If only you got recognition for how challenging it was from time to time...

Well, your time may be coming. We are looking at the possibility of producing a Superyacht Crew Awards with the sole purpose of recognizing crew achievement.

Just imagine the possibilities: You are no longer Susan who has worked as a stew for a few years on a couple yachts; you are Susan who was shortlisted for a Superyacht Crew Award. WOW!

We are looking at categories for every role on a yacht and would like to conceive of a thorough and fair process that will unearth the best crew in the industry.
