Videofootage has surfaced of a yacht, believed to be 34-meter M/Y Paradise, sinking in Port d’Andtratx,Mallorca, Spain, after a Force 9 storm hit its mooring last week,causing it to take on water.
According to local publication DiarioDe Mallorca, strong winds caused the yacht to slam against the dock,damaging the hull. Another smaller yacht also suffered damages from the stormand began to sink.
Reports state that rescue efforts were regulated by thelocal police and several troops worked to prevent the two boats from completelysinking.
