M/Y Time Outwashed ashore on Palm Beach, Florida, early Wednesday morning, September 7.
According to local reports, the operator, Thomas Henry Baker,63, confessed to police that he had been drinking Long Island Ice Teas duringthe time of the grounding. He reportedly told them he “failed to navigate hisvessel into the Palm Beach Inlet and ran the vessel into the beach.”
The U.S. Coast Guard told WPTVthey were alerted of the incident around 2:15 a.m. No injuries were reported,and everyone on the boat was able to walk ashore.
According to local news outlets, Baker was arrested andbooked under Palm Beach County Jail at 7:03 a.m., where he was charged withboating under the influence.
TowBoatUS reportedly removed the vessel later.
