UK-based RIB and superyacht tender designer and manufacturer Rib-X has officially relaunched under the ownership of Vortec Marine. Since joining the company in 2022, Rib-X has been refining its expertise, and the relaunch signals a renewed focus on performance, innovation and craftsmanship.
A key highlight of the relaunch is Rib-X’s expanded range of SOLAS-approved rescue tenders, designed for superyachts over 500GT. The relaunch also introduces a full 2026 range of products and services, including superyacht tenders and a new Revive & Refit maintenance and refit program.
Rib-X’s heritage of innovation includes being the first to create an open SOLAS rescue tender and delivering tenders to vessels such as 266-foot Sea Eagle, one of the world’s largest sailing yachts.
With its relaunch, Rib-X aims to strengthen its position in the UK marine sector while expanding its reach internationally, offering bespoke, high-quality solutions for superyachts.
