Aspiring yacht crew listen up! The PYA have announced a new forum for those looking to kickstart their career in the yachting. The event is organized in collaboration with top crew recruitment agencies including Bluewater, Hill Robinson Recruitment, The Crew Network, and YPI CREW, and promises to provide invaluable insights and guidance for those looking to embark on a yachting journey.

Taking place on Friday, May 3, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Salle du 8 Mai in Antibes, the event aims to equip attendees with essential knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the competitive world of yachting. The forum is set to address a range of topics, including dockwalking techniques, exploring various career paths available on yachts, and gaining insights directly from captains. The event is free but spaces are limited.

According to PYA, attendees can expect a comprehensive overview of the yachting industry and personalized guidance on how to kickstart their careers. Moreover, representatives from leading recruitment agencies will be on hand to address attendees' queries and provide valuable advice.

In addition to the forum, attendees can also benefit from ongoing initiatives hosted by partnering agencies. Hill Robinson Recruitment offers Introduction to Yachting meetings every Wednesday from April 10 onwards, while The Crew Network hosts Newcomers meetings every Thursday.
