After decades of showcasing the latest and greatest in boating, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show continues its legacy of bringing in visitors from far and wide. The 64th annual edition takes over the yachting capital from Wednesday, October 25 to Sunday, October 29.

There will be no shortage of boats, technology, new products, and exhibitors to see at its seven show locations. A first-time exhibitor, Tankoa Yachts will be exhibiting 72-meter M/Y Casino Royale after her recent refit with glass balustrades and an open feel on board. M/Y Rockit, the latest hull to launch in Numarine’s 37XP series, features a contemporary interior design and expansive windows. Benetti’s Oasis 34M includes an open transom, infinity pool, and disappearing salon doors for uninterrupted views. Also on display will be Benetti’s B.Yond 37M, which lifts the owner’s and guest suites to the main deck and has an E-Mode hybrid propulsion option. The skydeck version of Ferretti’s flagship, Ferretti 1000 Skydeck, features an enclosed sundeck and contemporary, light interior.

The Superyacht Village will be the largest since its introduction, including a new design pavilion and the return of Triton Submarines. In the Broward County Convention Center, the AquaZone provides an up-close and personal experience with a variety of watersports and innovative marine products. Plus, you can grab a seat at a variety of educational seminars and hear from industry experts.

It’s never too early to start getting together, as the events around the boat show kick off before we step out onto the docks. In celebration of Viking Crew’s 35th anniversary, join them for a Pop-up Club event at The Boathouse at Riverside on October 24 from 6:30 to 10 p.m., alongside other sponsors: Roaming Expert, Savage Lighting, Global Services, Crewpass, and MHG Insurance.

To help ramp up the boat show festivities, Liquid Yacht Wear is hosting a fun night at Whiskey Neat on October 25 starting at 7 p.m. Enjoy free drinks and join them as they gear up for their boat show bingo competition. Keep your eyes peeled while at the show to complete your bingo card and be put in a drawing for some great prizes. (P.S. We have our own square, so be sure to stop by the BOAT International booth for copies of Dockwalk.)

International SeaKeepers Society is hosting its 25th Anniversary Celebration on Wednesday, October 25. The evening will recognize yacht owners, captains, and ocean scientists who have contributed to their mission, along with milestones from the organization’s history.

On the evening of October 27, members of the BOAT International Captains’ Club are welcome to unwind and network at a drinks reception. For more details, contact captainsclub@boatinternationalmedia.com.

If, after a full day of the boat show, there’s still some energy for a good time on a Friday night, one can never go wrong with stopping by the Yacht Chandlers’ Captain/Crew Party from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the Hard Rock. This event is by invitation only.

On October 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., stop by The Wander Shop in Oakland Park for a Sip & Shop. Enjoy Côtes de Femme as you shop former stew Randi Barry’s Summer on the Seine collection and runway pieces, plus Mermaid and Me jewelry collaboration and MLKANHNY jewelry from the runway.

This year’s edition is looking to be full of incredible boats and events to attend. See you out on the docks!
