Are you looking to round out your Caribbean itinerary? Consider adding the inaugural Between the Bays event (March 9–12), which is hosted by BOAT International and Belmond. The three-day event program will offer guests the opportunity to explore that best of Anguilla and St. Martin.
The event is open to all yachts, both private or charter, and members of BOAT International’s Captains’ Club — open to captains on yachts larger than 24 meters — will receive invitations directly.
“We are looking forward to welcoming members of our Captains’ Club to take part in the first Between the Bays event,” says BOAT International’s Editor-in-Chief Stewart Campbell. “It will provide an opportunity for Captains’ Club members to connect, while also providing the yacht’s owner with a one-of-a-kind experience in this corner of the Caribbean.”
The event will start on Thursday, March 9, at Anguilla’s Cap Juluca resort, a renowned Belmond property. Guests will be welcomed with dinner at the hotel, just steps away from one of the world’s best beaches, before diving into an exciting itinerary that starts with an action-packed island experience the next day.
After a day out on the island, it’s time to hit the water and yachts will appreciate a cruise in company on Saturday, March 11, to the neighboring island of St. Martin, home to Belmond’s La Samanna hotel. The evening’s plans include a beach party where guests can dance the night away in a location made famous by visitors like Oprah and Salma Hayek. A farewell brunch rounds out the Between the Bays event the last morning.
“The packed program will keep owners and guests entertained and with BOAT helping with all logistics, it should be a relatively relaxed few days for captains and crew,” says Campbell. “The Between the Bays event will provide a great way to end the Caribbean season on a high.”
