About 42 talented crewmembers around the world sent over 160 photos and 8 videos for the Burgess Crew Photographer and Videographer of the Year in association with Dockwalk competition. We were blown away by all the entries, and the judges from BlueiProd, Burgess, and Dockwalk were faced with a difficult task to select a winner to be announced on September 28 on Instagram Live from the Monaco Yacht Show.
The winning photo is Commander by Mellisa Altenburger, and the winning video is Bahamas will always be my favourite by Riaan Robberts. The photo and video winners will receive an Insta 360 ONE X2 Action camera, a Lost and Found Crew NFT membership, and features across Burgess, Dockwalk, and Boat International channels. The photo will even be the cover of Dockwalk’s December 2022 issue, along with interviews with both winners about their entries.

Crew were asked to share their interpretation of “Everyday Extraordinary” — whether it’s a candid moment with your crewmates, a snapshot of the marine life around the yacht, a gorgeous view, or a dazzling night sky.
We’ve shared some of the entries so far on our Instagram, and we’ll continue to do so in the coming weeks.
