Introducing 2025’s best toys

Seabob F9

With even greater power, speed and versatility than the F5, the much-awaited F9 series made its US debut at this year’s Palm Beach International Boat Show. This new series provides exceptional driving performance thanks to its sleek, futuristic and functional design by Studio F. A. Porsche. At just over 44 pounds, the F9 is lighter than its predecessors, thanks to premium materials of titanium, magnesium and carbon — making it easier on crew. The F9 has a power output of 60 Thrust Performance (TP) and the F9S has 84 TP, allowing riders to glide through the water on its up-to-one-hour battery life. Available for preorder now. seabob.com

Lind Canvas

The LIND Canvas looks, rides and handles like a surfboard, but this electric version provides a new way to play with its easy set-up process. The board, battery and jet are individual pieces assembled together, so  you can carry the board under your arm like a classic surfboard, with  the battery and jet packed in a backpack. The board weighs 15 or 20 pounds (shortboard vs. mid length), the jet is 22 pounds and the battery is 37 pounds. Drawing inspiration from iconic surfboard designs, it generates 20kW of power for speeds up to 40mph and up to 45 minutes of ride time. lind.surf

Airslide A33 hovercraft

Airslide hovercraft can hover over any flat surfaces; in addition to water, they’ll defy gravity over sand, mud, grass and — for those with a particularly explorer-based program — snow and ice. They hover at 10 inches  and can hit speeds of 50mph thanks to a Toyota engine with MPI-electronic injection. With a weight of 770 pounds, they can be easily road-transported on a dedicated trailer — and at 14 feet long and seven feet wide, they’ll fit with the rest of the toys. Other features include a lightweight fiberglass hull, a permanently pressurized and stability- and displacement-enhancing four-cell loop, and a durable skirt system.
