An owner who knows what he likes and a team adept at flourishes and dedicated to practical considerations brought together the latest from a popular series.
The 180-foot Admiral Raja² is the newest member of The Italian Sea Group’s S-Force 55 series, following the delivery of sisterships Geco in 2020 and Silver Star I in 2023. Delivered to her owner in June 2025, the all-aluminum yacht’s interior and exterior design is entirely developed in house by Admiral Central Stile, offering what it describes as a bold vision of elegance, innovation and performance. Admiral also handled the naval architecture.
The owner joined the semi-custom new build at the start of construction, allowing for plenty of personalization alongside the charter-friendly design. For the maiden voyage, the owner spent two weeks on board before the yacht’s appeal garnered it 68 days of charter.
Designed in close collaboration with the owner, the yacht’s well-balanced layout and accommodation make her particularly well suited to large families, while the crew flow supports high-intensity charter use with frequent port changes, high guest turnover and event hosting. It’s a reflection of the S-Force 55 series’ design success, with Geco successfully completing 23 weeks of charter in her first year. The shallow draft of about eight feet makes the sisterships particularly popular for Greece’s Cyclades, Ionian Islands and the Sporades.
“Every detail is designed to offer not only beauty but also comfort and functionality,” says Gianmaria Costantino, CCO of The Italian Sea Group. That includes an abundance of hidden storage for both interior service and technical equipment. Further storage was originally found in the beach club area too, however the owner requested to have the sundeck gym relocated to the beach club for waterside workouts. Raja² (the ² noting this is the owner’s second yacht named Raja) now has a pocket-sized interior gym at the stern protected from the wind, with integrated sun loungers positioned either side of the ventilation shafts.
The option to set up an al fresco fitness area on the sundeck remains, however, thanks to plentiful plug sockets. There is also a gold mosaic-accented pool for relaxation with cool views.
The 499GT yacht’s exterior is distinguished by dynamic lines and an unusual dark bronze hull. The sharp, plumb bow has a commanding presence, and the open stern allows for generous relaxation areas with water access.
On the bridge deck, a large circular bar is set up forward of the wheelhouse, meaning guests don’t need to look far for drinks and crew assistance when relaxing on the bow. The yacht runs with up to 13 crew accommodated in six crew cabins to ensure service standards on par with luxury charters.
Expansive glass surfaces along the superstructure flood the interior with natural light. In a growing trend within yacht design and owner requests, the banks of glazing along the superstructure allow for a seamless indoor-outdoor living environment in which natural light takes center stage. This is further enhanced with generous outdoor spaces with two aft decks with multiple dining and lounge areas.
The upper decks and sundeck — complete with hot tub and multiple sunbathing spots — seamlessly integrate with the yacht’s silhouette, maintaining uninterrupted lines that enhance the refined, contemporary aesthetic.
A spacious circular lounge on the upper deck transforms into a touch-and-go helipad. The helipad’s circular overhangs — a signature feature when first debuted aboard Geco — once again bring a point of differentiation to the design. Additionally, a large garage accommodates a 26-foot tender and an extensive selection of water toys, including jet skis, flyboards, inflatable toys and towables. There is also a 43-foot chase tender.
Raja²’s maximalist interior reveals a refined and modern atmosphere defined by bold contrasts, exquisite materials and artisanal details. Brass and metallic finishes throughout echo the yacht’s flashy exterior.
Guests enter the yacht interior via the formal dining area aft where a black-and-white marble floor sets the tone for the interior’s divergent design language. Glass fluted wall panels and a dramatic cylindrical chandelier complete the package. The layout flows into the main deck salon where dark-stained oak flooring and a monochrome striped chair are both upstaged by a vibrant purple leather button-backed chaise lounge.
Alongside mirrored surfaces that play with reflections and three-dimensional fluted marbles and rich woods, the yacht’s distinctive visual language centers around contrasting elements, says Mattia Sala, part of The Italian Sea Group’s research and development team. This is evident in the black and white marble and wood wine storage.
Another good example is found on the upper deck, where one long continuous bar stretches from the interior lounge to the exterior deck. A large hot tub is placed underneath the hardtop, shaded from the sun. The indoor-outdoor divide is demarcated with black marquina marble for the exterior and calacatta gold marble for the interior. A dappled mirror ceiling (to increase the perceived height) and a suspended bottle storage add to the drama. Extensive mirrored surfaces — an owner’s request — reflect light and water.
The main deck full-beam owner’s suite forward enjoys yet more purple leather in the walk-in wardrobes and a private balcony. The owner’s funky collection of modern artwork adds to the yacht’s eclectic feel, including an ornate infinity mirror in the en suite. Raja2 accommodates up to 14 guests across six cabins, including two doubles, two twins with Pullman berths and a VIP with an en suite, walk-in wardrobe and leather-topped desk. When the yacht is on charter, the VIP is large and luxurious enough to be offered as a second master.
The yacht’s diametric design principle also applies to the wood finishes, where glossy canaletto walnut contrasts with sandblasted or bleached dark chocolate oak. Soft, natural-toned leathers complete the strong yet inviting textured palette, punctuated by elegant bursts of vibrant hues such as burnt orange and deep red wine.
Raja² is not just a style icon, she seamlessly integrates performance and comfort. Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 diesel engines, she reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16.5 knots. The RINA-classed yacht boasts a range of 3,500 nautical miles at a speed of 10 knots and is equipped with zero-speed stabilizers as well as CMC electric fin stabilizers. Since delivering in June 2025, Raja² has extensively cruised the Western Mediterranean, as well as completing charters in Greece, Croatia, Montenegro and Turkey.
