Every month, we put a question to the captains in the Captains’ Forum, our exclusive BOAT International Captains’ Club WhatsApp chat. This month, we wanted to know about your favorite adventure programs and destinations.

The Indian islands at Lakshadweep were quite the experience.

Alaska is my all-time favorite.

British Columbia is phenomenal for scenery, and whales, dolphins and sea lions abound. There’s great seafood to be harvested for your chef (prawns, crab, salmon, halibut), and there’s warm water swimming in Desolation Sound (well, warm-ish.) It’s a great stop on the way to Alaska, with big cities (Seattle, Vancouver) a day or two away.

It’s Fiji for me. Beautiful nature and very interesting culture, especially as you sail towards the more remote villages.

Take me back to Alaska any day of the week. Mix it up with a little Sea of Cortez too.

You should all try Greenland. It’s like Alaska on crack.

We went hiking with guests on Rinca Island in Indonesia and stumbled across Komodo dragons with deer antlers in their dens. Komodos were mating on the beach near the anchorage or tracking cattle. There was wildlife everywhere.
