Despite the rainy day at the 2024 Palm Beach International Boat Show, the interior crew aboard five yachts set up gorgeous and elegant tablescapes for the first annual Yacht Stew Academy Tablescape Competition. While a few shared a spring or Easter theme, each table showcased creativity, ingenuity and beauty — giving the judges a challenge in choosing a winner.

Chief stew Erin of Spirit wowed with her spring Easter table full of florals, eggs, and even a bunny. Second place went to chief stew Bianca, second stew Emily, and stewardesses Montana and Stella of Seanna for their under the sea table, complete with mermaids, starfishes, and shells.

The judging panel was Clair Minto, owner of Chief Stew Shop; Destry Darr, owner of Destry Darr Designs; Captain Kelly Gordon; Jayne Willis, founder of Floating Florista Foundation; and Gemma Hulbert, founder of The Yacht Stew Academy. Each of the tables were judged based on the following: creativity and elegance, coherence, attention to detail and overall impression.
