The only marina in the region capable of handling Giga Yachts up to 140m long and located in the safest cruising ground in Asia. Tropical beaches and year round diving complement traditional culture and beautiful scenery not to mention the fast paced modernity of Taiwan's second city Kaohsiung that has everything one would expect of an international harbour with excellent provisioning, restaurants and leisure activities for owners and crew. With around 30% of the population speaking English and an infrastructure serving the centre of luxury yacht building in Asia, even the largest yacht will be able to find everything it needs whether for cruising locally, as a staging post to the Pacific or even a major refit.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
