Karpaz

Karpaz Gate Marina is the new luxury marina in Northern Cyprus, located on the Karpaz peninsular, one of the Mediterranean's last undiscovered yachting areas. The region's first luxury marina, it has a total of 300 berths, including those designed for super-yachts, up to 55 metres and a 300 tonne travel lift. The marina is part of the Karpaz Bay Resort, a first-class tourist destination featuring a lively promenade with duty-free shopping, chandlery, shops, restaurants, bars, gym and an international standard beach club. The area offers excellent year-round weather, characterised by hot summers and mild, sunny winters. Completely free of industry and pollution, the Karpaz peninsular is a stunning, pristine, cruising area, steeped in history and undiscovered bays. It's the perfect stopping-off point when cruising around the Eastern Mediterranean.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
