Rosendal is often referred to as ”heart of the Hardangerfjord – the queen of Norwegian Fjords”. It is the centre of tourism on the Folgefonna peninsula. From here you can also visit the Folgefonna glacier which is said to be the safest and largest plateau glacier in Norway. You will find stunning waterfalls in the area. Many of them situated close to the fjord – enabling all visitors to enjoy the splendour and power of these majestic wonders of nature. Please feel free to contact us at any time. We can assist you in planning your cruises all along the coast of Norway. Rosendal is the perfect superyachtbase for exploring the fjords of Norway.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
