An Inexperienced Micromanager Is Stepping on Toes...Help!
Posted: Wednesday, January 27, 2010 3:06 PM
How do you protect yourself from an inexperienced micromanager that’s leading another department onboard? My team works well together, but one of the other team leaders on the yacht is out of their depth, showing signs of stress and beginning to step on peoples toes by telling them how to run their section. The deck, engineering, hospitality and galley sections of the boat all need to work together and I am worried that the eventual downfall of this person will effect the entire boat and cause collateral damage that will make good crew to leave.
