YM Offshore - where?

I did my YM Coastal last year in the Solent. This year I am planning on YM Offshore, but this time I would like to do it preferably somewhere in the Med. I already have all the required miles, day, passages etc. and only need a prep-course and exam.

Which area/place/school do you think would be best with a view to future job perspectives in the industry? Do you think, that it would be a disadvantage, if I did Coastal in tidal and Offshore in non-tidal waters?

Looking forward to your considerations,

You could do the course on Mars, that counts for very little - your providence is where your miles were earned.

do not use Yachtmaster SA in cape town, terrible school. Completely unorganised & their 3 sail boats are falling apart. Unfortunately my brother is mid course with them - absolute rip off.

Good luck!!

In Palma (Mallorca) there are a few places, for example Palma Sea School, Blue water yachting, aigua sea school etc.

if you have collected enough tidal miles then the exam does not mater where you take it.

Good luck
