Hello, Just wondering if anybody else has moved form the Workboat/Tug industry to come and work on Private yachts.

I currently have a STCW 95 <200gt Master Qualification with a OOW <500GT, Along with all the other RYA Yachtmaster offshore etc and a whole host of experiance on workboats but not really private yachts.  My hobbies are Competitive Dinghy and keelboat sailing, and a keen windsurfer so the Private yacht industry does seem like the right move for me to be with people with a work hard and play hard attitude.

Just wondering if anybody knows of any Jobs going which might be sutiable or any advice into getting into the industry full time ideally sailing as master on a smaller vessel or OOW on a larger PY.

It's not what you know, it's who you know; and buy drinks for.
