200T endorsements, what to do and what not

I am in the process of booking 200T MOYL with IYT, had a couple questions of opinion you all may be able to comment on

- what value do S/Y's place on the sail endorsement, and what does it entail (my background and my focus is primarily sailing). Would you guys recommend just taking the sailing practical, or doing the power practical with the sailing endorsement, or just doing the power practical. (I couldn't figure how to write that in a less convuluted fashion!)

- given that i am dual US/UK citizen and am happy working within both countries' frameworks, how much value is the extra day and a half USCG 200T ticket. I figure it is quick and relatively inexpensive so may as well do it....?

Thanks all!
