Hi there, I will be moving out to Palma to seek yacht work next year (Feb/Mar 2015), however I would like to know how the tax arrangements would work? I'm an Isle of Man resident (born and raised here), so I do pay income tax here, but I've heard numerous stories about yacht work being tax-free if planned correctly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Sean

Google is your friend http://www.gov.im/treasury/incometax/sections%5Cpractitioners/PN44(4)-93.xml

There may be specialist companies over there that will do your tax return like Seatax in the UK.

It is vital to be sure of your own tax status - Tax liability (anywhere in the world) starts with residency and tax residency is not a matter of choice... it is a matter of FACTS!

Take a test to be more sure of the facts.
