I'm looking for some help/opinions, I'm thinking of making the change from deckhand to chef and wanting to know how would a 3 months intensive cookery course weight up in the yachting world and what would I be able to land?
Any ideas on school would be great also!

You need experience of actually slogging your guts off in a kitchen! A one hit wonder course is not going to equip you with the equivalent experience that the other chefs have worked incredibly for in michelin star restaurants, top hotels etc around the world. Its a job of experience.
