I am in Palma looking for work and am seeking  advice on places to go here. I'm an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer who has  22 years experience within engineering but with very little experience on yachts as I'm from a railway background. I am currently working in the banking sector and desperately need a change of direction and a new challenge! I have done  my STCW95 and MCA Engine courses but am short of sea time but would like to do the season.

Would appreciate any help during my week here.

Many thanks Warren

Hi Warren, i can't really offer and advice as to where to go in Palma, but we're currently looking for a 2nd engineer. We're a 50+m M/Y, and currently based on mainland Spain. If you're interested, please feel free to email me your CV and i'll pass it on to the Chief and the Captain (leomurray2 AT hotmail DOT com)
