Hello,
Under the ML5 requirements, it is stipulated in Part B, Section 5 the following:
b) Does the applicant lack the ability to read 6/6 on the Snellen Chart at six
metres distance in at least one eye with glasses or contact lenses if worn?
Testing should be done on each eye separately.
My best eye with glass worn doesn't give me a 6/6 vision. Does that mean:
- There is no possibility to have a commercial endorsement on a YM offshore certificate
- I can't be hired in the yachting industry and work as a skipper
thanks in advance for your replies
