Record-breaking drug bust on board a pleasure vessel

According to an article on Guardian.co.uk, a massive drug bust saved 1.2 tons of cocaine from hitting the streets in the UK. The drugs were stashed aboard the 20-meter M/Y Louise. The vessel was boarded and inspected in Southampton, where the £300M worth of drugs was confiscated.

However, the Guardian reports that officials searched the vessel for six days before finding the stockpile of cocaine — the cocaine "took up a space of about four cubic metres and was fitted neatly under the diving platform aft with access from the engine room." Six individuals were arrested in connection with the drug bust, which is one of the largest in UK history.

Considering it took UKBA 6 days to find the drugs on board themselves I'm guessing there could be a chance that the crew knew nothing about the drugs...

Will keep an eye on this one.
