Hello Relief engineer.

Now when the MLC 2006 is coming more into play and all seafarers are entitled to 2.5 days vacation for every month worked.

Question: Do you expect to get paid out an additional 2.5 days/ or vacation with full salary after a month of relief engineering ?

Annual leave is calculated at a minimum of 2.5 calendar days per month of employment.

Take care.

I believe that short term contracts can have a "consolidated" rate of pay ie it includes paid leave

The intro to this thread in the bulk email mentions rotational engineers who (if they are being paid 12 months) get many more days per month than the minimum required.
