This is an untold story. On November 1, 2012 YachtAid Global pitched the idea of carrying aid to Robinson Crusoe Island to the Captain of Suri. The idea was accepted. On November 5, 2012 the recently refitted motor yacht departed Los Angels on a direct run to southern Chile. During the early AM hours of November 25 Suri dropped anchor at Robinson Crusoe Island. They had a warm welcome and discharged to shore, thousands of dollars in school materials, first aid supplies and general humanitarianism relief aid. The island was devastated by a tsunami back in February of 2011 and is still recovering. We are working on the finer details of this untold story. It can be slow communicating with the far corners of earth.
