Dubai Marina Yacht Club (DMYC) is the port authority for operations and berthing in the Dubai Marina canal, a 3.5-kilometre manmade waterway. Comprised of four distinct marinas, and a total of 533 berths for yachts 8 – 40m, DMYC is ideally located in the heart of ‘new Dubai’ and is immediately adjacent to the Palm Jumeirah, as well as the World Islands. DMYC’s clubhouse, with its own 134 berth marina, is the centre of operations and offers five star amenities as well as locally renowned restaurant and bar choices. Due to bridge restrictions, a maximum air draft of 8.5m is in place.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
