Ganges Marina offers superyacht berthing on a 500 foot dock with electricity up to 50Amps. It is in easy walking distance of the Ganges community and all its amenities and businesses. Salt Spring Island is the largest of the British Columbia Gulf Islands, the islands extending north of the San Juan Chain that themselves extend northward from Puget Sound. Three companies offer float-plane services to Vancouver and one to Seattle. The areas climate has mild winters and long summers that rarely get too hot. Local events include a weekly Farmers' Market with local vegetable growers, artists and crafts people, Canada Day celebrations and an Autumn Fair.

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.
