Marina Verolme is located in the southeast of Brazil around 140km down the coast from Rio de Janeiro opposite Ilha Grande. There are 480 dry slips, 76 berths, 12 of which are reserved for yachts from 27m to 39.5m. The site gathers together more than 60 companies, including shipyards, workshops and all kinds of maritime services. Apart from the full-service marina, there are four restaurants, a spa, shops, a deli-market, and in the near future, a hotel. Events include live music during Saturday nights in the Summer and New Year's Eve festivities.

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.
