Palapa Marina, based in Simpson Bay Lagoon, offers stern-to docking for up to 22 superyachts with a draught of up to 18ft. Each berth offers water and electricity (30/50/100Amp - 3 phase), fuel, telephones and cable TV. Services include shipwright, refrigeration and air-conditioning specialists, divers, scuba shop, business centre and yacht support. Yacht provisioning, washrooms, showers and a laundry are all located within the marina complex. Many popular restaurants nearby and the infamous Soggy Dollar Bar opens right onto the dock.

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.
