The main settlement on Green Turtle Cay is New Plymouth, situated on a small peninsula on the southern tip of the cay. Like many places in the Abacos, the town was founded in the late 18th century by refugees from America and is full of charm with its narrow streets and pastel-coloured clapboard houses. Green Turtle Yacht Club is a few kilometres north of New Plymouth on White Sound, and is the focal point for sailing and diving on the cay. Visitors can enjoy meals on the terrace overlooking the marina or in the bar decorated with a variety of sailing flags.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
