The wide expanse of San Pedro Bay encompasses San Pedro itself at the western end, and then Wilmington, Long Beach, Naples and Seal Beach. Most of the waterfront at Wilmington is made up by Terminal Island, a huge complex of docks and wharfs. Just to the west of the main channel lies Port O'Call Village, a commercial rendition of a New England shipping village, and an older version of the Fisherman's Village at nearby Marina del Rey. To the east, the huge bulk of Long Beach's premier attraction, the Queen Mary, can be seen, while beyond that is the canal village of Naples.
