The marina is located at the heart of historic downtown Kingston, close to shopping, restaurants
and night life. Built for the 1976 sailing Olympics, the venue caters to world-class competitive sailing throughout the summer months. Kingston is in a unique location where the Rideau River and Lake Ontario flow into the St Lawrence River and is known as the freshwater sailing capital of North America. The marina is located in front of City Hall and within walking distance of major hotel chains. Tourist information and non-resident tax refunds are available at the Tourist Information Office.
