Vilamoura Marina is a full-service marina that offers 1,000 berths. The fuel jetty is open seven days a week and the marina has 24-hour security patrols guarding the berthing areas. As well as the largest marina in Portugal, Vilamoura also offers the largest boatyard, with a comprehensive range of equipment and support services. Within easy walking distance is a choice of restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and plenty of boutiques. Although due to the mild climate Vilamoura is a popular destination all year round, in summer the area really comes to life.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
