Lymington Marina offers over 280 deepwater, well-protected berths in the Georgian town of Lymington on the West Solent. A continuous programme of investment delivers everything needed for an overnight stay or a permanent base for your yacht. Lymington Marina is part of Berthon, a vertically integrated operation with full scale yard, marina, new yacht sales and brokerage, which employs 130 skilled professionals. Lymington has long been a haven for mariners the world over as it benefits from double tides and a stunning approach though the widely curving Solent. The nearby New Forest offers peaceful walks through areas occupied by wild ponies and deer.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
