Zadar lies on Croatia's coast in an area strewn with bays and islands. The marina is situated
at the very centre of this 3,000-year-old town, and is an ideal setting-off point for the
Kornati archipelago, with more than 100 islands, islets and cliffs. To the north lies the
majestic scenery of the Istrian peninsula. Fourteen miles away from Zadar at Veli Iz, on the island of Iz, a smaller marina has been established, which is a subsidiary of the one at Zadar, making it an ideal short excursion.
