Porto San Giorgio is an attractive tourist resort situated on the Adriatic coast, south of Ancona. The
wide beaches backed by palms and pine trees stretch for miles and are never over-crowded. The town itself has many restaurants, pizzerias and bars as well as a colourful market on Thursdays and Sundays. The Villa Bonaparte in the north of the town was built by Napoléon's brother, and well worth a visit. Marina di Porto San Giorgio has moorings for 774 boats and has over 120 square kilometres of protected berths. Summer brings with it many attractions to entertain visitors, with every need catered for.
