Porto San Giorgio is an attractive tourist resort situated on the Adriatic coast, south of Ancona. The wide beaches backed by palms and pine trees stretch for miles and are never over-crowded. The town itself has many restaurants, pizzerias and bars as well as a colourful market on Thursdays and Sundays. The Villa Bonaparte in the north of the town was built by Napoléon's brother, and well worth a visit. Marina di Porto San Giorgio has moorings for 774 boats and has over 120 square kilometres of protected berths. Summer brings with it many attractions to entertain visitors, with every need catered for.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
