Taranto's marina is located in the heart of the Old Town, within the historic port. The Marina has 250 berths, with floating pontoons and a jetty for yachts up to 40 metres in length. It offers a full range of yachting facilities and visitors can enjoy the warm welcome so typical of this part of Italy. Visitors and yachtsmen will find a wonderful array of local food and wines on offer and Taranto is an ideal base for visiting the significant number of archeological sites and places of interest to be found in the vicinity. They are all within easy reach of the marina by public transport.

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you.
