Being over 2,000 years old, the city of Naples has much to offer visitors. Described as the Italian version of New York, it seems to have a bit of everything. The old centre is crammed with ancient churches, markets and cafés and the southwest has its broad boulevards and majestic squares, while the relative calm of the Vomero district provides a natural balcony with views across the city and bay to the dormant volcano Mount Vesuvius and the ruins of Pompeii. The museums, royal palace, churches, castles, theatres and the opera are just a fraction of what is on offer in this lively city.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
