The name of Carlo Riva is known to nearly all yachtsmen on account of the famous Aquarama speed boats that he designed and formerly produced. In the early 1970s, Riva turned his energies to creating one of Italy's first really modern marinas near Rapallo. The marina provides good facilities and quotes inclusive mooring fees. Within easy reach of the big city of Genoa, Rapallo is set in the breathtaking Gulf of Tigullio, close to Italy's most famous coastal village of Portofino.
