Juan-les-Pins, set close to Antibes, is well known for its two kilometre-long sandy beach backed by fragrant pine trees. A jazz festival is held in the town each year in the second half of July, attracting both musicians and music-lovers from around the globe. There are plenty of restaurants along the front to choose from, as well as a casino, museum and many lively bars and discos. Cap d'Antibes is just next to the marina and is well worth a visit, even if just for a stroll in the evening. Beautiful villas are dotted among the lush green plants and trees, and the Jardin Thuret is home to a variety of flora and fauna.
