Alcudia Bay lies between Cap de Pinar and Cap de Farrutx, where the proximity of the mountains and the Albufeira wetlands provide a haven for wildlife and birds. There is ample opportunity to pursue an abundance of water sports and there are many hidden coves fringing the peninsula between the two bays. All of the usual facilities and services are offered by this pretty marina, which has been awarded an EU Blue Flag for its continually high standards. Visit on 29 July and you will experience the fiesta of San Pedro, the patron saint of fishermen. There is also a Roman theatre and a four-star hotel.
