Puerto Montt city has an important level of economic activity, mostly in
aquiculture and fishing, and is known for its great natural attractions: volcanoes,
forests, and national parks. Puerto Montt is also the starting point of Chilean
Patagonia, a territory known worldwide for its biodiversity.
