Yacht Basin Large

Established in 1937, The Yacht Basin Company is the oldest privately owned marina in Annapolis. Located in the heart of Maryland's state capitol, with easy navigation from Chesapeake Bay, the Yacht Basin offers a large, modern facility. Clean, bright bath houses and a new laundry room are just a few of the conveniences awaiting our guests. The marina provides over 100 fixed slips, three deep water face docks that routinely welcome vessels up to 240 feet, and five high speed fuel pumps. Historic Annapolis is just steps past the Marriott hotel on the marina's north side. All around are 18th century homes and narrow streets with a wide variety of shopping and eating establishments. A casual stroll south over the Spa Creek draw bridge is the Maritime Republic of Eastport…a sailor's paradise.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 600 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team is pleased to present its online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
