Brewer Dauntless Shipyard

Brewer Dauntless is located on the west bank of the Connecticut River in the middle of the Essex mooring area. The face of the dock is identified by the bright orange fender balls that hang on the face. The dock is 150’ (46 m) in length, and provides a wonderful tie up in one of the most beautiful areas of the North East. The Connecticut River is the only major river in the North East that has never been industrialized, and therefore is pristine and green. The dock provides a great, quiet spot for owners and crew to rest and enjoy the tranquility. One half mile north is a beautiful fresh water cove that provides great exploration by tender and offers a wonderful swimming spot. The town of Essex is a small, quaint New England town with small shops and lots of history. Local shops provide crew with all their needs when caring for themselves, their owners and guests. A very important aspect to our dock is it provides clean 100 Amp Single and Three Phase, 208 Volt power directly from the transformer. Come enjoy a unique experience.

Welcome to Superports!

With data on more than 600 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team is pleased to present its online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.

So if you've had a great night out, found the best surf shop or been impressed with an emergency repair, click on the Recommend A Local Service link and share it with crew around the world.
