Portland Marina is well situated within Portland Harbour and enjoys deep water at all states of the tide. It's position within the harbour provides maximum protection from the elements and allows easy access to the Solent, the West Country, the Channel Islands and France. Full shore side facilities are available including lift out capability of up to 320 ton with assiociated hard standing. Weymouth town centre is situated nearby and provides a vibrant night life with good quality restaurants. Weymouth & Portland is steeped in history, making up part of the Jurassic Coast and also being home of the Royal Navy up until the late 1990's.

With data on more than 500 Superyacht marinas, the Dockwalk team are pleased to launch our online Superports directory.

Previously only available in print, the Superports directory contains information including contact details, facilities at the berth and local services. It also provides vital logistical information such as lat/long co-ordinates, berth numbers and sizes, prices and distances to local airports.

What's more, the whole thing works with Google mapping. Select a region or enter a location, rollover an anchor and see the name, location and photo of the marina. Click on it to load all the info on your chosen marina.

When you've chosen a marina, you'll notice a list of local services classifications in the right hand column. Right now it's fairly empty. That's where you come in.

We're building the site around our users, and we want to publish the things that are most useful to you. As you travel around the world, you can recommend the best bars, friendliest agents, most efficient electricians and the quickest taxis - to name but a few. And as the directory builds up, you can look up services that have been recommended by other Captains and Crew.
