On the morning of August 7, the 56-meter M/Y Lady D
caught fire at the Ao Po Grand Marina in the north of Phuket, Thailand. But thanks to firefighters, the fire was extinguished, according to a press release
from Asia Pacific Superyachts.
Marina staff were notified of the fire at 8:25 a.m. local time and called the fire department and Marine Police for assistance, says Gordon Fernandes, Asia Pacific Superyachts general manager in Phuket & Myanmar.
Fernandes was reportedly told that all the crew got out safely, and firefighters confirmed there were no injuries.
