MLC Workshop

Nautilus and D and B services have organized another MLC workshop, after the success of their April workshop at the 2010 Antibes Yacht Show, for July 27, 2010. Neil Atkinson, a marine surveyor with the MCA, will present on the topic: “UK’s Crew Accommodation Substantial Squivalent” proposal for MLC compliant large yachts. The workshop will begin at 2 p.m. and will be held at Hotel Ambassadeur, Juan les Pins. Peter McEwen of Nautilus International will also speak. FYBA Educational Charter Seminar

FYBA is holding an educational, day-long seminar aimed at those interested in the “luxury charter” industry. The seminar will include sessions on website marketing, social media, the art of negotiation and legal issues affecting chartering. The seminar will be held at the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Port Everglades Hotel and will run from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be followed by a cocktail reception.
